<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>i went to HOMIES DO PLAY THAT also that saturday night :) jah - maybe the map point wasn't too great of an idea. BUT i loved the location - never been there before - the palace in downtown. there were three different rooms</DIV>
<DIV>i got there just when scott k was about to spin in the main huge stage room. boy was that packed (i did go around to the other rooms that were bare cuz he was on). there was a good dope energy and feel. he played reliably well - dope get on up, get on down energetic tunes...the djs that played that area were kinda far away upstairs, and it was kinda funny to see his far figure hopping around getting all into it. :) ok, no one mentioned the boxes of free donuts during his set!!! krispy kremes! how random was that? good call ;p </DIV>
<DIV>i did get to see a bit of casey goto at the same time in the smoking patio - that boy surprises me with his range of music - he was playing some dope hip hop, groovy stuff. i usually hear him play house. </DIV>
<DIV>the guy after scott was raul campos - he has a show on saturday nights on KCRW nocturna 9-11pm :) i like his feel for house. </DIV>
<DIV>i caught some of cade downstairs - tearing it up to a tight lil crowd like no other. </DIV>
<DIV>and the night ended yummy with dj soul from bodyrock/dsof. he played a range of tunes to the remainder of the peoples. we were all still dancing even to that last random song...hee hee what was that anyway?!? </DIV>
<DIV>i think it was a great turnout despite everything that went on that night - faith, coachella + others. thanx fresco - looking forward to your next party - the park party, "journey" right? when is that?!? who's spinnin? let the summer park parties begin!!!</DIV>
