<P> It's funny how i read this and thought about what the writer was talking about. Then i come to realize that the writer has come to put a label on the people hes talking about, when in fact he/she was the one talking about labels. Why does it matter where people go to listen to music whether it be house, hiphop or anything else? I have been to Swank, at least 10 times, <which i guess makes me fake the funk>and i havent been dissaponited once. I will give that the crowd is a lil different from your typical DEEP or DYNA or RELEASE crowd, but who cares? Obviously someone right? The point that is being missed here is that in every culture, each individual has something unique to bring, and in this music culture you will find many interesting people, and by labeling people you only cut yourself out from meeting them. Maybe you're a loner and thats what you want, but we all speak for ourselves dont we. I myself, was brought into the electronic scene through these massive events such that B3 throw, and if it wasnt for their House Area featuring DOC n' SNEAK and the likes of others, i would most likely not be here attending DEEP every SUNDAY to hear the likes of FRANKIE FELICIANO an Mr. Wyatt. So please step off your throne Mr. House Head because your just labeling yourself.
