Thanks for the info Gary!

The Comic con website lists some hotels, but you can't make reservations through
them anymore.  I recommend doing a search for accomodations at www.mapquest.com,
in the San Diego city information site.  Hotel reservations can also be made
through travelocity.com.  My big discovery for cheapcheapcheap accomodations are
two hostels that are 4 blocks away from the convention center.  Dorm beds are
available for $17 - $20 per night.  Do a search for "hostel" at mapquest. My
friend and I are staying at the American Youth Hostel (619)525-1531.  Let's get
a good Cheapskate Groopie contengient there!  Maybe Scott Hudlow will join us?
Oh, and for the best deals on flights try travelocity. I found flights to the
same city ranging from $192 to $500+ no kidding.

My friend Jesse and I will be arriving on the Wednesday before the Con and
departing the Tuesday after.  Any Groopies want to tour the city before or after
the Con dates let me know....

All set for San Diego!!! (three exclamation marks means I'm excited.)
