I'm not able to go to the con, but I've been to San
Diego a few times (some good friends live there), and
I have a recommendation....find the Corvette Diner! 
It's a cool retro-50s diner with great meat loaf and
sarcastic waitresses on roller skates who throw
Bazooka gum at you, a DJ and a Corvette in the front
lobby.
