Lat, One of sergio cartoonist friend in Malaysia had produced a cartoon series
call "Kampung Boy" - village boy in English and in Malay. It tells about life in
the rural - village boy maybe around 1970s. Anybody want a copy? When Lat went
to the LA, he stayed with Sergio for a few days there. Then in the Groo#55 (if
I'm not wrong) there was a character named Lat which Sergio took from this person
(actually that Groo#55 is based on Malaysian scene) These facts can be found in
the Sergio's interview with the men's Review, a Malaysian magazine which I sent a
copy to Gary. Gary, maybe you can scan the interview page and send it to the
groo.com owner to be posted on the web.
