[Groop]Groo (really!)

Hi Dustin!
Actually, one of the bizarre things about this very first Groo sighting is
that ANYBODY with access to the Internet can see it and even print it. Go
to this web site:
http://jour.csun.edu/scene/sc77s01.jpg
Unfortunately, I cannot find an original copy!!!!!!! Arrgh!!!! It is one of
two Groo Items I most want to find!!!!!!!!!
But, joy of joys, today I received a Turkish Groo in the mail!!! Yay! Man,
Turkish Groos are weird. As many of you know, they have TRACED versions of
Groo stories with very little of Sergio's detail. Sergio & Mark arranged to
have stats (I think) sent to the publisher, but they used tracings instead,
maybe to fit things on the strange size paper.(7' x 5"). I don't know. I
have #1 & #3, which have Epic Groo adventures #1&2 and #5&6, with covers #1
and #16, respectively.
Well, the one I got today must have been some kind of Turkish Trade
Paperback. Because it has no number and has Epic Groo #8,7,5,&6, in that
order, and the cover to Epic #22. So I am thoroughly confused as to how to
catlogue this one, especially since a guy once scanned me an ad for a
Turkish Groo #8 from the back of a Turkish Conan. The publisher is long
since out of business and Mark & Sergio have no idea how many were
published. All three of the ones I have are copyright 1989.
So probably the only way I will find out is to go to Turkey, unless Gabe
gets stationed there, but actually I'd rather go to Malaysia and get hooked
up with Azamin, enjoy the tropical paradise, and find old Sunday Megazines.
Take care all -Gary G.
