Well, look at the name... peanut which is originally comes from 2 words - pea
and nut. when european discovered the peanut, they don't know what to name it
in english, it is in the same category as pea which is legume, but hard enough
to be a nut, that why they put it as peanut. So think, peanut is in the same
category as pea... same goes to pineapple, it's not a pine family and of course
not an apple.... Many fruits especially not found in europe is named not as
their species.......
