Story of my life, and something it seems I have in
common with Mark, and Sergio too:
I enjoy self-deprecating humor; talking about my
misdeeds (such as my old Grooism posts) is a way of
showing I don't take myself too seriously, and I don't
like to brag so I seldom talk about the good things I
do.
Just like people came to believe the running gag that
GROO only has one joke and wouldn't buy a comic with
only one joke in it (THE FOOLS!!!), we seriously run
the risk of people believing our self-mockery is fact.
But I wouldn't have it any other way, and I suspect
Mark and Sergio will always find it funnier to lampoon
themselves a bit, simply because MISDEEDS ARE FUNNIER
THAN SUCCESS.
And isn't that REALLY what Groo is about?
-Larry Steller AKA The Sheik Of Entropy (even THAT is
self-deprecating!)
