Hi Folks!

GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!
!!!!GROO!!!!!!GROO!!!!!!

Boy, That felt GOOD!!

Well, I couldn't hold out any longer and am finally making my first post of
the year. (Big deal.) Hard to believe that I posted just 232 times in 2000
and that that was #1. In previous years I think that would have barely
gotten me in the top 5! My guess is that this year the top poster child
will be that great Grooper Trooper, incurable soccer fan, and wonderful long
distance friend, Azamin!

Josh, I agree with Kevin. 42K is an excellent choice for a cutoff. Even
long posts by me and others reporting on cons and such are not anywhere near
that big, and or course, 42 is always the answer, unless it's duct tape. (I
believe Einstein worked for 40 years on a unified theory to resolve the 42
vs. Duct Tape paradox.)

Mark! Again I say your site is fantabulous!!! I have not had the time to
look at it much beyond the Groo pages, but there are many, many of the
non-Groo pages that interest me and I know I will be spending a lot of time
looking at them. Way to go and thanks a bunch!

Also, Who-hoo on the Groo magnets!!!! And thank you SO MUCH for once again
assuring the Groop that you will take care of us, especially the more
neurotic and deranged Groopies like myself, and give us the opportunity to
receive, buy or otherwise glom onto a Groo item without worrying about the
vagaries of local comic shop ordering and/or ebay. BTW, are the bookends
still in the works or in the dumper?

Groo Chess sounded great at first, but then I started trying to think it
through and it just didn't work for me. If Groo is one King, who is the
other? Also, chess pieces move in a rigid orderly fashion. Uh, that is
pretty much the opposite of Groo! That's why the Groo card game works so
well. You work on your carefully crafted plan to have a complete city and
Bam! Groo shows up and destroys the whole thing! Beside that, neither
Garry Kasporov or the biggest Big Blue the IBM techies could come up with
could ever defeat Groo!

Has anyone looking for Space Circus checked at the Dark Horse web site to
see if issue #1 can be back ordered directly? If not, and all other sources
turn up empty, I will check with my local shops and see what they have.

Hope everyone had a nice Groo Years!

Take care -Gary G.

PS I suddenly had this image of Groo running around on a chess board with
Rufferto, wiping out all these animated chess pieces from all these fancy
sets and then jumping off the board and attacking the two giant players....
