~~~ If you're reading this e-mail, it means I have passed on.... from the
Groop. ; )  Hi everybody.  It's true, I'm no longer on the Groo-L.  I
un-subbed in Dec.  I made that decisions primarilly because the small talk
was outnumbering the interesting posts.  (Note I didn't say, "on topic" or
"off topic" -- I always LIKED OT posts.)  It seemed to me that over the
course of months, we had gotten down to the point that we might soon have
posts about the staples used to bind GROO comics together.  And lemme tell
ya.  After carefully examining the staples in my GROO collection...
they're boring.  All this coupled with running Blambot Fonts (which is
getting 500-1000 hits a day now),  finishing up the third of the LINT
McCREE MYSTERY comic books (which might be the last except for some short
anthology pieces I'm doing for CLI's Chris Yambar), and designing fonts for
Mike Allred's THE ATOMICS and MADMAN, makes Nate a busy monkey.  (BTW, Mike
is workin for Marvel again.  He's taking over X-FORCE, which means there
might be a decent Marvel book -- course, I can't get lettering design
credit cuz of Marvel's deal with Comicraft... but I am being compensated by
Mike)
Anywhoo... I do miss you guys, and I think of the Groo-L often... I've even
been entertaining thoughts of re-enlisting...
~Nate
