STRANGE!!!

Actually, I've always said the same thing, and have
recently revised my opinion slightly during a recent
period of reflection and meditation (in the smallest
room in the house).

What interests me most is a good STORY. 

Yes, that means the writing, but it also means artwork
that communicates the story properly, rather than
being a series of cool poses. What better example of
artwork that relates a story than Sergio's pantomimes
in MAD or ACTION SPEAKS?

Too many of today's artists sacrifice the readability
of a comic book in order to make an artistic
impression, to do something cool, dynamic, daring! 

I'm more impressed when the art & copy mesh to tell a
great story, without intruding upon the reader's
enjoyment of the story.

That's why I'm such a fan of GROO!!! We've got a great
TEAM of creators who focus on THE STORY first!
