[Groop]Pointless Short Takes

Hi Folks!

Well, I guess I was off the list for a few days plus I was just off for a
few weeks.  So here are my totally pointless comments and answers to some
posts of the last few weeks:

Re:  Larry's Groo-ish woman who only passed on the curves, it goes to show
you that Sergio & Mark don't  need to make up stuff for Groo adventures.
Inspiration abounds!!!!

Re: "Rare" signed Groo cards.  Sergio used to sign them all the time.  I
think maybe he stopped.  So although this guy may have actually pulled them
from a pack, there is absolutely no way to tell them from ones he has signed
at a convention.

Re:  the Images of Groo cards.  They pop  up on ebay occasionally.  As with
everything else, it's what are you willing to pay?  Ebay is very strange.
Sometimes you can get the cards (and the lead miniatures) for reasonable
prices and sometimes you cannot.  Good luck to all trying, and when the
price gets high, just remember others will come.

Re:  Wow Chad!  A Did I Err?  shirt in David Letterman's chair!  Oh yeah,
and you too.  Pretty cool!

Re:  Lucky Cat & meeting Sergio.  Everyone always says the same thing.  It
would almost be boring if it wasn't so universally cool!!!!

Re:  Painting Groo Minis.  What's the big deal?  If I didn't have the fine
motor skills of three-toed sloth I'd have painted mine years ago.  I have
seen them painted and they look really, really cool!!!  (Don't use a dark
green on the dragon)  And let us know when you find the Magnors.  Don't pay
too much.  They are around.

Re  Arwin Tom.  The Dragon is from the cover of Epic Groo # 2.  The W&W's
are generic Sergio characters.  Ruben's idea about the Ral Partha THING is a
good one.  And he can't fool me about the Kerplotz mini.  I know it doesn't
exist.  (And besides, I can't find it anywhere!!!)

Re:  I believe it was a Comic Book Legal Defense Fund fund raising cruise
and it was cancelled.

Oh yeah, the ants came back......
