I did pest control for about a year, and UNIRABBIT's
husband ZOOKEEPER has been running his own pest
control company in Florida (which I believe is
Seminole "for too many @#$% ants") for years, and if
she's currently lurking will probably be happy to
answer questions for you. If Gary wants to contact
her, and can't get through to her directly, email me
privately and we'll arrange something.

Do I have to remind you how dangerously FLAMMABLE
gasoline is?

And that's not the only reason you shouldn't use it as
a pesticide! People forget how VERY POISONOUS it is to
humans (okay, and to ants too). Not just injesting it,
but it seeps into your skin and does nasty stuff to
you! You really shouldn't casually handle the stuff
(and NEVER wash your hands with it, no matter WHAT
you're trying to get off).

Insecticides are of course poisonous too, but you can
find formulaes that are less toxic to humans (and to
the ecosystem) but more toxic to ants.

In my year as a hired killer, I mean pest control
dude, the material I handled most frequently was
actually only about as toxic as vinegar. Ant control
methods vary widely depending upon the type and habits
of the ants, so I can't really give you a quick
off-the-cuff answer, but talk to UNI and see what kind
of helpful suggestions she may have.

(I didn't send this privately because I really wanted
to underscore for EVERYONE how toxic gasoline is, and
how dangerous it is to use it as a pesticide. Sorry
about preaching! We now return you to our regular
