I actually spent more on postage and framing than on the pieces I bought off
Sergio at SDCC 2000, I wanted to showcase them really well. Forget about
selling them.

I'd like to think I was building a collection of art (like it's small at the
moment) and for me it was a possibly once in a lifetime shot to go to SDCC,
and I think these guys who turn up and scam artwork for resale are abusing
the privelage of being able to attend, and abusing the friendship offered by
the artists they scam.

Sergio and Stan were absolutely fantastic for their fans, and man it really
helped to be able to say to Sergio . . . . - "Hiya, I'm Greg from New
Zealand"
*look of skepticism from Sergio* "I'm a member of the Groop" *Big
Sergio-tastic
Grin and warm handshake"

And then some funny ant exterminator in a bright orange shirt turns up, and
Sergio looked quite happy, "Gary - pleees look after stall, I go Coffeee"
:o)

Take these art-scammers and stake em down in the anthills of the mysterious
Grossman Tribe . . . . . with no duct tape !

of thing? If Sergio personally drew me something, no amount of money could
ever replace it. That's just me though.
