And, US and Canada share the common border. But those checks from Europe, Australia, Asia will be charged. As in my case, I'm from Malaysia, if I want to cash checks with Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand and singapore, it shuldn't has any problem as we shared common borders but checks from Australia, Europe, US, Canada, mid east, Japan, China wil be subjected to some commission and it varies from bank to bank depending their facilities.
