ME: You know, I'm not sure. I have three Emmy nomination
certificates. One was for a show called PRYOR'S PLACE and the other
two were for GARFIELD & FRIENDS. But I think I was nominated one
other time for GARFIELD...

ME: I met Jack Mercer for a whopping thirty seconds one time. Never
met Mae Questel. Bluto was voiced by a number of people but mainly by
Jackson Beck, who is still alive and heard often in TV commercials
even though he's well over 90 years old. Never met him, either. (All
three of these folks did most of their work in New York.) I did meet
Dave Barry -- no relation to the columnist -- who was a voice for
Bluto for about four cartoons. Barry was also a frequent voice for WB
cartoons. (He's the guy who did Bogart whenever Bogart turned up in a
cartoon, among other roles.)
