Yes!!! Barring us first having the earthquake that cracks California off the=
=20
North American continental shelf & slides us all into the ocean......

This year I am planning to enter the Art Show -- with a beaded "amulet bag"=20
featuring a portrait of Rufferto (done in peyote-stitch with 15/0 beads, for=
=20
those interested) as the "big project" entry. Since the Art Show is also an=20
art sale (and as far as the CA State Board of Equalization & the IRS is=20
concerned, I do beadwork as a business), that means that this piece will be=20
"for sale". =A0There is no way this will ever be a "production piece"-- so f=
ar=20
I've put over 30 hours into it & it's not done yet..... and I plan to give=20
Sergio a cleaned up copy of the pattern, so he can distribute it if he=20
pleases.... it doesn't violate any copyright laws as being an exact copy=20
since it's not in the same medium as the original (and adjustments were=20
needed to fit the limitations of beading), but it IS recognizable to any=20
Sergio fans as Groo's hound.=20
The Art Show rules say to indicate any copyrighted characters, etc., with a=20
notice of who the character is & who has the copyright -- easy enough to do=20
-- but, is there anything else I need to do? Like, get permission from=20
Sergio, or whoever published the card game (from whence came the picture I=20
used)?
