There were so many friggin' lists around leading up to 2000 I couldn't =
believe it. Most of them were dumb. It's one thing to debate sports =
stuff like best third baseman or something like that because there are a =
lot of objective stats to throw in with more subjective stuff. But =
lists of things like best cartoons or comics are purely subjective, not =
to mention way, way too broad. How do you compare "Bambi" with "Rocky & =
Bullwinkle"? And how do you compare the "Garfield & Friends" series =
with the "Popeye" series. The former was about 120 cartoons produced =
with consistently high quality over six years (I think) The latter was =
over 200 cartoons produced over 25 years and ran the whole gamut from =
brilliant & ground breaking to absolutely abysmal. Wizard's list is no =
more valid than one you make. So I really don't care what Wizard's list =
says, (other than to see if they have the wisdom to include my =
favorites!).   -Gary G. =20

  Has anyone picked up the latest issue of Wizard? It lists the 100 =
greatest=20
  cartoons. I was very disappointed to see some of my most favorite =
cartoons=20
  are listed in the last 25 (ranked 75-100). But as a kid of the 80's, =
I guess=20
  I should expect my favorites to come in last. However, what I am very =

  disappointed in and what I wanted to share with you all is this: my =
all time=20
  favorite cartoon, "Garfield and Friends" didn't even make the list! =
After=20
  reading the list, what do the rest of you think?=20
