ME: Everyone involved in the world of GROO is safe and sound, thanks.
I haven't posted anything because I've been alternately watching the
news, getting deluged with calls from friends and trying to meet
deadlines.
I woke up Tuesday morning around 10:30 AM (Pacific) and found about
eight messages on my Voice Mail. The first was from Sergio saying,
"Are you watching this? Turn on your TV. It's so horrible, what is
going on in New York." But he didn't say what it was. The other
seven messages were from other folks saying the same thing...but none
of them said what was happening in New York that was so ghastly.
As I turned on the TV, I thought, "It couldn't be as bad as they're
saying." But it was. And is.
Everything everyone else is saying is true. I'll have an editorial on
my website in the next day or so, summarizing some of my thoughts.
By the way: When folks see the next GROO mini-series, "Death and
Taxes," they'll think certain plot elements were inspired by events in
the news. And, of course, it was...but not by what's going on now.
