And I say this as a friend -- you stepped, nay, jumped, leaped,
catapulted yourself over that "fine" line MANY issues and many years
ago. ;)

PS No one understands insanity like one who's also insane: I'm trying to
decide whether to put a COMPLETE list of letters written to the DD mag
along with summaries of the letters on my DD site.
