Just a quick blurb: Anyone else have a semi-religious trip to the comic-book
store, and is it a well-known franchise? My favorite shop is called
Excalibur but its a long drive away, my closest one is a Things From Another
World (which is largly owned by Dark Horse as I understand it). Wednesday
*would* be comic-book day, but often they don't get all the comics on the
shelves till the following day. Usually me and my two artistic pals ride up
there and pick the place clean. :-) Right now we're excited about Herobear &
The Kid and the new Batman storyline with Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb.
Oh, and on another note... I've recently felt very warm towards Dark Horse.
I've always loved the creators under the emblem, but after seeing the DROLL
book by Don martin they put out and the smaller-sized collections of Louder
Than Words and Actions Speak, it has doubled. REading these books remind me
so much of my treasured MAD paperbacks.... thank you, Dark Horse.
