[Groop]a very off topic post

Okay, this is the last time I plan to make mention of
the events of September 11 to my buddies in The Groop.
After all this list is all about humor and escapism
and above all else our fascination with Groo and the
wonderful and talented Groo Crew! 

However,  enough of you touched me deeply with your
outpouring of concern and compassion in the days &
weeks that followed that I thought at least a few of
you might  want to attach a face to my cousin Susan
Ruggiero, who lost her life that day. 

If you'd rather not bother with the following, I
understand you come here for fun and laughter, and I
apologize for this last intrusion...

If you are interested, however, there was a brief
piece in Long Island Newsday about Susan that should
illustrate in a simple way why her family and friends
loved her so and mourned her so very deeply.
