Gary:
Good suggestions.
How about color photos of Groo merchandise? Reproductions of the Marvel Age
covers? Maybe reprint the lead story from the Groo special?
Repos of Groo posters and promotional flyers.
How about panels from comics with Groo cameos? I seem to remember DNAgents
or Crossfire where characters were holding comics with Groo on the cover.
And how about when Groo appeared in Usagi Yojimbo?
You have to include the story of the bootleg statutes! It is a classic
(especially the tagline).
Rufferto deserves a chapter, including photos of the dog he is based on, the
story of how he was supposed to be a one-shot character who ended up
becoming a regular, and a selection of those wonderful back cover pantomime
one pagers.

>One of those All-the-Covers montages that various magazines have done over

>All, or a sampling of, the Groo covers Sergio has done for other magazines.
>Some of these, like the Shadis #43 cover and the 1995 WonderCon cover are
>really great examples of Sergio art.

>A page that shows the same Groo cover in different languages. PC #1 is in

>As for written stuff, all of Mark's job titles would be cool.

>Also a little discussion of the Groo running gags and catch phrases,
