I think the picture of the "World Famous Ultra Expensive and Rare Groo
Towel" should be included!  It COULD be interesting to do a cover where
there is the picture made up of all the smaller pictures (perhaps a picture
of Groo made up of all the covers ever done [since obviously the 8 Pacific
aren't enough]).  But that's just my thoughts at this moment in time.

Mark, I like all the things you are thinking about putting in the Groo book.
The more previously unpublished drawings the better.  Especially if Sergio
dated them and the date is pre-1982.  Also, some of the obscure published
drawings from the early 80's and from Scene Magazine would be cool.

As for other things, I'd like to see:

The earliest photo of the Groo crew together that you can find and one as
you are today, along with a picture of Gordon Kent.

One of those All-the-Covers montages that various magazines have done over
the years.

All, or a sampling of, the Groo covers Sergio has done for other magazines.
Some of these, like the Shadis #43 cover and the 1995 WonderCon cover are
really great examples of Sergio art.

A page that shows the same Groo cover in different languages.  PC #1 is in 4
and PC #2 is in 6.  (I happen to know this short bald guy who can get scans
of them.)

Now I'm stretching, but maybe a little sample of how Sergio just can't help
but draw Groo everywhere.  Like a couple of examples of Groo in a Marginal
or buried in a zillion character Sergio drawing.  There are several
possibilities for a "Where's Groo" page.  But this may be too weird or too
something for all but a handful of Groo fans.

As for written stuff, all of Mark's job titles would be cool.

Also, there has to be a nice big chunk about Groo Grams.  Groo Grams
greatest hits, or something.  Such as that letter in #52 from Harold
"Hermit" Wilson, from the "Comic Book Barbarian Regulation Enforcement
Agency" who said that Groo had to say "What manner of Wizardry is this?"  or
be in violation of federal law and sure enough, Groo said it in the that
issue.  Or that bad poetry guy or the Steven W. Ebner gag.

Also a little discussion of the Groo running gags and catch phrases,
including the One-Joke joke.  But again, maybe I'm getting too
Groo-esoteric.

Finally, a couple folks mentioned things like the number of times Groo sunk
a ship and stuff like that.  Well, whatever numbers or list Mark thinks will
have broad enough appeal for the book but doesn't have the time to compile
himself, I'm sure we can come up with for him.  (and no I don't know how
many ships he's sunk.  Yet.)
