Darn it. monday morning, 10 o´clock and I may already erred big-time. (can
you tell that I read Death & Taxes #2 this weekend and Garfield this
morning?) Read herein my sincere, humble and very public apologies.

(long post folks)

I must apologize Mark (and Groop). It was certainly not my intention to
imply that this was your opinion!

Hear that people? It was MY own personal humble opinion about the Turtles
eating pizza and talkin´ jive- not M.E.s! So don´t go spreading rumors...

: )

(Though, I do think I understand why they did what they did and given the
same opportunity I guess a lot people would do the same, but they did
disappoint a great many of their old fanbase. My jaw still hurts after
hitting the floor...)

uh...welll..err...I guess I must sincerely apologise again (this isn´t my
morning...). I was kind of half-kidding as I don´t know if I´d ever have the
time to put together what I was thinking of (see below). I was certainly NOT
thinking of doing anything publicly (as in putting anything on the internet
without permission) or infringing story-wise (I respect you keeping that
exclusively for yourselves).

I HAVE however been fiddling with the idea of starting a Game development
company and maybe pitching a Groo game idea to you and Sergio. I don´t know
how much you know about the game industry or if it is the same in show
business and comics, but it is common for a game developer to make something
"visual" or functional to show off how a game could be done before
approaching a potential publisher or licencee.

If you don´t have anything to show- noone will see or speak with you, that
is one of the game industrys´ golden rules.

It would initially probably have been done just for fun and if it showed
potential, then taken it to you and Sergio as a potential pitch.

I imagine it could be something like this in spirit and intention: "Mr.
Aragonés, we would like to do a Groo video game with you and Mr. Evanier.
Here are some ideas as to how we think it could be done.)

(I have also toyed with the idea of a simple internet Groo game done with
Flash- maybe something for POVonline or the Dark Horse website... Done in my
spare time as a Groo fan- just like all the t-shirts, Groo skins, screen
savers and web sites out there.)

Mark, now that I have explained a little better (I think?), please tell me,
would this really still annoy you and Sergio? If so, then why? The ideas
spring from a genuine affection for your and Sergios work and from a desire
to see Groo reach more people. (Perhaps I am ignorant of something here but
I would like to understand.)

If you disapprove of the above ideas, then again- I am sorry to have
offended and erred and will put any future hopes of working on Groo projects
out of my mind and just read the comics.

Here´s hoping this monday will get better...

Sincerely

/Joe F.
