Ya know, it's funny that you mentioned that today of all days,
because as it happens, today (Sunday, June 30, 2002) just happens
to be a very, very special day for me. 

I mean, I've been just GIDDY all day, laughing and singing and
skipping down the street, saying a friendly hello to all of my
neighbors, even that grump Mr. Dilston who scowls at me when I
play  "kick the can" with his trashcan...

You see, TODAY good friends, happens to be quite a milestone in
my life, one that I've been building towards for a long, long,
long, long, long time. I don't often show this kind of
stick-to-it-ness, but I've been dedicated to seeing this through
for, as I've just said, a long, long, long, long, long time. 

As of this very morning,  at precisely 9:08 am Eastern Daylight
Time (or are we on Standard time? I forget...) , well anyone, as
of 9:08 this morning, this is OFFICIALLY the 17th day in a  row
that I woke up and hit the snooze button on my alarm  clock less
than six times, a new record for me!!! 

Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I think I'll celebrate with a power nap....
