The other artist is Gerhard, who assists Dave Sim with the =
backgrounds. Although I don't think it should count *against* Sim that =
he's only had to work for himself (because self-publishing, though with =
fewer restrictions, is very time-consuming and a tiresome process), I do =
think the fact that the Groo Crew has careers outside the comic is an =
accomplishment worth merit. Not only do we recieve a fairly steady flow =
of Groo material, but also the magnificent work outside of the comic.=20

    Hi Folks!

The number of Groo comics is at 159 counting the Eclipse Special and =
the 2
Graphic novels. (Then there are the 7 "shorts" of 1 to 4 pages.) =
So yeah,
Sergio & company are 120 behind Sim,

BUT in many ways the Groo Crew is more impressive. Dave Sim has =
only had to
work with Dave Sim, more or less, and one publisher, himself (and =
that other
guy whose name I forget.) Our beloved Groo Crew is made up of 4 =
folks who
each have there own careers besides Groo and yet have remained =
intact for
pretty much every issue through five publishers and 20 years. I =
believe
    that achievement is unprecedented.

And as far a one man show goes, don't bet against Stan Sakai's Usagi =
Yojimbo
making it to #301 someday. Stan's imagination and the wealth of =
Japanese
mythology to draw from make the possibilities for the series =
unlimited.
    Take care all -Gary G.
