[Groop]More on Groo Shirts

So after hearing that Diamond was waiting on back orders for shirts, and not
believing they would ever send them, I came across one shirt, in my size, at
another comic store. Of course I bought it so I would for sure have
one....and typically today, my original ordered shirt arrived.

Well, I guess Gary, you did not clean out the stock. You will have to do
better next time.

Hi Gary,

I was just wondering how many Groo shirts you ended up buying (and are you
the reason that Diamond is out of stock....so mine has not arrived)?

Hi Folks!

Good call J. This is probably the best way to go now that I think (?)
about it. If your shop orders direct from Graphitti Designs, maybe they can
get a discount as a retailer that covers shipping and handling. I ordered
an extra large direct from GD today for Eduardo and I was charged $17.95
plus $4.50 S&H.

By the way, they said they would do International shipping. (But I have a
bunch of other stuff for Eduardo.) You can do an international order from
their web site at www.graphittidesigns.com. That's what they told me. I'm
sure you could do a domestic order too. But I like telephone calls.

Take care all -Gary G.

I'm still awaiting my copy and so I called Graphitti again today to ask
about it (I called a few weeks ago). At first the woman I talked to said
that it should've already shipped, but then she looked and found I was part
of a backorder that hadn't been shipped yet. She assured me that it would
ship today. So, if you ordered yours and haven't received it yet, give them
a call.

I could be wrong, but I've looked several times at Graphitti's website and
still haven't found the t-shirt! I even did a search for Groo and got the
following:

01: GROO #1: GROO Pin
02: GROO #4: SAGE Pin
03: GROO #5: MINSTREL Pin
04: GROO #6: CHAKAAL Pin
05: GROO #2: RUFFERTO Pin
06: GROO #3: TARANTO Pin
07: LIFE OF GROO by Sergio Aragones
08: GROO: CHEESE DIP? Statue
09: DEATH & LIFE OF GROO by Sergio Aragones
10: Graphitti Designs | Softcover Books
11: Graphitti Designs | Sculptures
12: Graphitti Designs | Pins
13: Graphitti Designs | Hardcover Books

Please note there is no t-shirt listed. I even did a search for Aragones,
but with similar results. Perhaps I DO have to call them to order it?

Hi, Groop. One of the events at the Comic-Con International next week
is a slide show that Scott Shaw! and I are doing of comics edited by
Julius Schwartz. Scott and I picked about 50 comics out of my
collection and I was supposed to shoot slides of their covers that we
can project during the show.

Two problems: One is that my 35mm camera equipment hasn't been touched
in five years and a few components have gotten shabby and non-working.
I used to do this all the time but I'm not currently able. And the
other problem is that I'm sddenly swamped with work that will occupy
my every minute between now and the convention.

Is there anyone out there with a 35mm camera, the know-how to shoot
slides of comic book covers and a willingness to help? I'm looking
for someone to whom I could FedEx the comics in question, who would
shoot them in the next few days and FedEx them and the slides back to
me...or, if this person is attending the con, bring them to me there.
I will pay for FedEx and film and such, and reward the person with
something Groo-related.
