ME: Beats me.  The folks who run the convention work in mysterious
ways.

ME: You should never take those things seriously.  We don't.

ME: Tom's work is underappreciated, no doubt.  But so are a lot of
folks.

ME: Again, this is not something you should take too seriously.  It's
a nicetie but not much more than that.  

Sergio is actually hoping/praying he doesn't win.  He thinks he's too
young and has too much of his career ahead of him.

Last I heard, the plan was that if he won, they'd ask me to present
that category.  But I'm probably not going to be at the award ceremony
so I don't know what will happen.
