I was cruising around eBay in the search for the perfect anniversary present
(2 years next month!) for my beloved Elie, when I noticed two things, one of
which may be of interest to the Groop (the other being the insane number of
typos--someone is selling a Jango Felt poster, for example).

I decided to search for "Aragones original art," not expecting to get
anything for reasons ME has already explained, and up pop two auctions by the
same guy (Items # 883763708 and 883761449). They appear to be small sketches
much like the one Sergio did for us at a con, complete with someone's name
worked into the art and dated "Aragones 02." I'm not sure which depresses me
more about this: that someone would auction something that Sergio probably
did for a fan free of charge out of the goodness of his heart, or that the
sketches are going for $8 and $5 respectively. Ot the third, most disturbing,
possibility: the guy got the sketches straight from Senor Aragones with the
intention of selling them.

No wonder some artists aren't doing sketches for fans anymore, or have
started to charge if they do.
