Technically, the Amish only build the boxes, which look more like a
dresser than a comic book box and hold 1,800 comics per unit in, if I
recall, twelve drawers specifically designed for easy access to your entire
collection. They're sold by Legends Entertainment of Sturgis, Michigan. If
anyone is interested, you might try calling the owner, Kevin Southwell, at
616-651-8995. He delivers and sets up the furniture, so I don't know how
far he's willing to ship--lucky for us, he's willing to deliver to Toledo.

Whoa. How come there's no Amish Booth at the San Diego
    Comic Con? They'd clean up!

We found out about them at the Motor City Comic Con in November, where
Legends Entertainment had a very nice display of their basic model. When we
were there, they were selling them for $1,000 each (they're well worth it).
When we talked to the owners of the company, they were definitely willing to
develop a custom unit for us, including a set of drawers to hold our MADs
and larger comics.

  Janet
