I believe this event was documented in an issue of the National Geographic 
with artistic renditions of seaman perishing and such. Knowing what we know 
now they should have commissioned Sergio for doing the artwork (and Mark to 
write the story).  A tiny Groo could even have been hidden somewhere to 
satisfy Mr. Gary "Groomanic" Grossman (GGG).
