[Groop]GROO MAIDEN Question for M.E.

I noticed on the title page of the third story in THE GROO MAIDEN
(THE ARANA), there is a credit at the bottom which says "Art
Assist by Granny Aragones".

GRANNY Aragones???
Does this mean that Sergio's Mom (or grandmother!!!) helped him
with the art on this, or is this some sort of inside joke? I
envision an old lady with a mustache helping fill in Rufferto's
missing eye dot!!!
