Hi all;

I have an etiquette question for all you collectors out there.

I recently bought a house with my fiancé, and had to move all my stuff into
it. I've been a comic, toy, book, and game collector for about the past 17
years or so. As I'm sure many of you can relate, I was nervous about
preserving the condition of my collection.

I cringed when I had to load my old Dungeons and Dragons books, but I got
through it. I was doing OK, but then I got to my vintage Star Wars toys, and
that was real bad, but I got over it. As the pile on the truck got higher I
got more, and more bent out of shape, but I was careful so I was doing fine.

THEN THE UNTHINKABE HAPPENED!!!

As I was about to close the truck door, on the U-Haul, my fiancé said "What
about those boxes over there? They'll fit in that space near the back of the
truck".

Those boxes contained the "Holy Grail" of my collection; MY GROO STUFF!!!

I just couldn't do it. It was bad enough boxing it up, and taking my
precious Groo stuff out of the sanctity of my room, but to put it unguarded
in the back of a cold lonely truck!!! NEVER!!! Let the rest of it burn,
but Groo must survive!

So I ask you, was I wrong to make my fiancé ride in the back of the truck,
so my wonderful Groos could be safe and sound? Or was that a bit selfish
and over protective of them?

Yours not completely truly:)
