So I ask you, was I wrong to make my fianc=E9 ride in the back of the truck,=
=20
so my wonderful Groos could be safe and sound? Or was that a bit selfish=20
and over protective of them?

I'm not, technically, a comic collector--I purchase probably five comics a=20
year on=20
my own--but, having spent two and a half years as a fiancee of a comic=20
collector and another (almost) two years (so far) as the wife of a comic=20
collector, I'd like to weigh in on this etiquette question

The question you must ask yourself as you debate whether to put the Groos or=
=20
your fiancee in the back of your moving van is: which is more important to=20
keep in pristine condition--your Groos or your fiancee? Granted, she will=20
heal better from any minor bumps and bruises, but if you had (Sage forbid)=20
gotten into a BIG accident, she would be a LOT harder to replace than even=20
the most complete, mint-condition Groo collection signed on every page by=20
Sergio himself.

I consider myself a very understanding comic wife, but I personally would no=
t=20
have gotten into the back of the truck. If she consented to ride in the bac=
k=20
to keep your Groos safe, and especially if she helped you unload the truck a=
t=20
the other end, she is definitely a keeper.
