Hi Larry!

Thanks for the great report!  And what a great story!!!  The Native New
Yorker and the Renowned World Traveler can't get a cab in NYC and the day is
saved by the Grad Student from the Philippines!  The essence of Groo is
everywhere!!  -Gary G.

PS  I had my own Grooism today, though much more mundane.  Had a Honey-do to
perform of fixing the dripping faucet.  Thought it would be just taking
apart the faucet and replacing a washer.  Turns out it's a "washerless"
faucet.  $45 and a new faucet assembly and several hours later (not to
mention numerous words that Eric does not approve of) the faucet doesn't
