I tried to find Groo's but the name is not in their database.. then I
tried grossmann.. I got this...

According to our research, the origin of the name Grossman is German (2
origins available) and the Coat of Arms contains A shield divided per
fess black and gold with three silver stars, and a black triple mount,
all within a gold border.

small excerpt from this history:


Spelling variations include: Grossman, Grossmann, Grosman, Grosmann,
Groesman, Groessman and many more.
First found in Saxony, where the family contributed greatly to the
development of an emerging nation and would later play a large role in
the political conflicts of the area.

First landed in Johann Grossmann, who came to America in 1783. Michael
Grossmann came to Philadelphia in 1741, and Wilhelm Grossmann arrived in
Texas in 1853.
