Hi Folks!

I just discovered there is a TV show on HGTV called "Ultimate Collectors."
And let me tell you, compared to most of the people they profile, I am an
amateur!

Tonight they showed a woman who has been collecting Peanuts related items
for 35 years. She has over 60,000 items, started an internet Peanuts
collectable club and they hold a convention every year in Santa Rosa, CA,
which was Charles Schultz's home for the last 20 or so years of his life.
Good Grief!!!

Then there was a guy who has over 2000 Disney Pins. He trades with a bunch
of other folks, a large number of whom all took a Disney Pin Collector
cruise together. Can you imagine if we did that? The ship would never get
out of the harbor!!

I heard about another person they profiled who had a house full of banana
related stuff. Somehow that sounds closer to Groo collecting.

Anywho, I just thought it was interesting to see there are people out there
even worse than me! (or something like that.) (Where do these people get
the time and the money?)

Take care -Gary G.

PS Mark! You have mentioned that you have three storage rooms full of
comics and some of your comics have been used as the masters for reprints
when the original masters (or whatever the right term is) were lost. Is
there a person or a few people who are recognized as having the largest or
most diverse or most valuable or most something comic book collections? And
are you even in the ballpark? Just curious.
