I've already pointed out to him that his ISP's Terms of Service
specifically forbids sending spam (or "unsolicited e-mail messages
that are sent to users who do not request these messages", to quote
directly from http://www.help.rr.com/faqs/e_spampolicy.html), and that
if he wants to keep spamming the groop he runs the risk of having his
account cancelled...

I also gave him very specific step-by-step instructions on how to get
off the list.  From here on in it's his call as to which way he goes
from here.
