Actually if you view every email's headers, they already come with 
two unsubscribe links:

List-Unsubscribe: <http://mailman.newdream.net/mailman/listinfo.cgi/groop>,
	<mailto:groop-request at groo.com?subject=unsubscribe>

Also all the Yahoo!-run email groups have the link for unsubscribing 
explicitly printed at the bottom of every email that gets sent to the 
group, but people still send emails asking how to unsubscribe, so 
really the problem isn't figuring out how to unsub but people being 
TOO LAZY to take the minute or two it would take to figure it out.
