Hi Folks!

Boy. Imaginary girl friends. I seem to recall having nothing but imaginary
girl friends in high school. And I didn't have to pay a dime!...

Hey! Maybe someday someone will auction off an imaginary Sketch Card!!!!

Anywho, with my new Groo comic racks on two walls and room for around 90
comics, I am slowly but surely taking over the family room. My son says
that it's like my version of a den. Only instead of dead animal heads and
the like on the walls, I've got Groo comics. Much nicer than dead animal
heads. And more colorful.

So in keeping with the season, I've pulled out the six Marvel Ages that have
Christmas themed Groo covers and the Telegraph Wire and put them on display.
We have Groo about to nail Santa, Groo rousting elves, Groo roasting and
eating Rudolph, etc. Talk about your Christmas Spirit!!

AND, just a few moments ago, I got out one of my Groo ornaments to put on
the tree, which was expertly and beautifully decorated last week by my
daughter. Just as I was about to try to hang it, three other ornaments
right around the same spot fell off the tree!!! Well, I can take a hint.
If I had hung Groo on that tree, by morning ALL the ornaments would have
jumped ship (so to speak) Rufferto's presence notwithstanding! And the tree
probably would have caught fire!

As it happens, we have this little tiny tree (about a foot high) decorating
a little table near the real tree. It just has a couple of tiny garlands on
it. And it's fire resistant. So that's where I hung Groo. Of course, the
Long Suffering Mrs. G. has not seen it yet, so it may not be there long.
(Unlike me, she actually has some sense of propriety and taste, although
apparently not when it comes to men.)

Happy holidays to all -Gary G.
