ME: The Garfield movie is a possibility, not a probability. A script
has been written but the studio is still trying to decide whether to
go ahead and film it. As you probably know, an awful lot of movies
are written but never get anywhere near a camera.

I have not been involved and may not be involved. They talked to me
briefly about pitching in but that was some time ago.

We have an actor who does a great Lorenzo Music impression. I picked
him out and you may have heard him in a commercial that runs
intermittently on TV for a motorized cat litter box. His identity is
a closely-guarded secret for reasons that you probably wouldn't find
very interesting, but he's not anyone famous.

If the movie is made, he may or may not do the voice. There are some
folks at the movie studio who seem to want a big star to speak for
Garfield, even if it means a completely different voice. I have no
idea if the movie will happen or, if so, how the question of the voice
will be resolved.
