[Groop]GROO NEWS from me

Does anyone here need an entire set of GROO trading cards? A dealer
friend of mine who's in financial trouble has several complete sets he
needs to unload. Sergio and I are going to sign our cards and I think
the guy will then be selling them for $65 each plus postage. I've
gotten him to agree to knock $15 off that price for Groop members. If
you're interested, drop me a note and I'll forward it to him.

Speaking of signatures: After seeing too many of his signed items sold
immediately on eBay, and after having a couple of collectors really
abuse his generosity, Sergio has decided to adopt a new policy for
autographs. If he's at a con and you buy anything from him, he will
of course sign it. Beyond that, it's three autographs to a person.
Any additional signatures will cost one dollar apiece, with all this
money going to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

At the moment, neither Sergio nor I are scheduled for any conventions
before San Diego, though he will probably be at the Wondercon in
Oakland in April. I probably will not.

We still have no release date for our next comic book project but I
hope to be able to announce one this week. Watch this space.
