This isn't necessarily the best way to work out when you first
subscribed, though.  For example, my first message was on 20 March
1996 (http://www.groo.com/mail/msg00154.html), but I actually
subscribed on 28 October 1995
(http://www.groo.com/mail/msg00036.html).  Lia's method of googling
for "subscribe groo-l" and your name will give a much more accurate
result.
