[Groop] questions

I've got a couple of questions?? First all how and where did the name
Groo come from? Also I was reading a Groo comic last night (another
restless night) as I was reading I notice when Groo killed a pig he had
skull of a pig in a balloon over his head. And this is the same sort of
thing that Stan Sakai does when Usagi kills. So I was wondering did
Sergio draw the skull or Stan when he lettered it hmmmmm. Like I said it
was a sleepless night :-)
