Ah, you misconstrued the original intent. You are SUPPOSED TO attend the
panel and not get kicked out of the groop. I think it was just a fluke that
the top two people happened to miss the panel this past year. But, if you
want to be obsessive about something hours before the panel, you may risk
your eternal soul (or your Groop membership at least).

So, what you're telling me is that if _I_ attend the SDCC and miss the
MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE CONVENTION BECAUSE I WANT TO GO ON A CRAZY(yet
successfull, I'll admit) G(R)OOSE CHASE FOR OLD NEWSPAPERS... you're telling
me if I do that, then I, too, can be one of the top five posters of the
year?!? Fantastic! I'll begin making plans now!
