I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT!!

I actually kept a New Year's Resolution!  After twentyxxxxx years of making 
almost-promises to myself, I actually kept a resolution!

An entire new world is opening up before my very eyes -- and boy is it 
looking bloodshot!

I feel now I can conquer the world.  I can go anywhere I want to go.  Be 
anything I want to be.  I'm able to leap tall buildings.  Bend steel in my bare 
hands.  And who (disguised as Clark Kent, Mild-mannered reporter for a great 
metropolitan newspaper) fights for truth, justice, and the Ameri-----  huh, 
what?!  Sorry, got a little caught up in the moment here.

Well, now I'm going to go out and prove how inconquerable the new Elie is!  
I'm going to go out and stop the next train with my new can-do attitude.  Why?  
Because I can!

Oh, and of course I'll be wearing my Groo shirt.  So when I perform this feat 
of strength (or is it, strength of feet?), everyone will know that I'm a 
member of the Groop!
