another alternative is to use linux.... it's free.. stable (you can make
it as your own web server) and most software application for it are also
free... have open ofifice to replace m$ office, mozilla for the
browser... etc... and are mostly free.. The most important thing is, you
can still use your PC currently running windows for it....
But the downside is, you got to be a bit computer expert to install it..
but that can be solve by asking somebody who knows how to do it... and
from time to time they had improve it to be more end user friendly for
the installation process...
