[Groop] Scooping GrooFest

Hi Folks!

There was no indication that any other artist would be used.  I'm sure it will be Sergio drawing Conan & Tarzan, otherwise I think they would have mentioned it.  BUT, maybe it just hasn't gotten that far in the planning.  

And to answer another question:  Yes, Mark & Sergio always stridently stated there would be no crossovers with Conan or others because they would go something like this:  First Panel,  Groo meets Conan.  Second Panel:  Conan calls Groo a mendicant.  Third Panel:  Groo kills Conan.  End of crossover.  

And Mark did say something like "Needless to say, Conan won't be surviving the ordeal."   But apparently it will take 20 some pages instead of three panels.  I can't wait!  

Sergio also said that the Tarzan story would be more difficult because it will be harder to merge his world with Groo's.

  Maybe the idea is Sergio will draw Groo while Dan Spiegel handles Tarzan. This would be appropriate given Spiegel's similar involvement with Mickey Mouse Super Secret Agent circa 1967...
