[Groop] Groop group on Flickr

Hi

I've been on flickr since its inception (back in Feb this year) and I've 
  watched it shape up into what I think is the best photo-sharing and 
photoblogging tool on the internet today. And it's still in beta!

Ok, before I turn this into a commericial for flickr, I just wanted to 
float the idea for forming a Groop group on flickr. Groups have the 
ability to create discussion threads (I know this mailing list is great, 
but for the people who are on flickr, that's a good way to talk too) 
also when you launch "Flickrlive" you can open a group chat, so if there 
are many Groop members online, that would be a great way to interact 
too. And, the group photopool is a nice way to share pictures with a 
whole bunch of people.

To those of you who own cameraphones, flickr allows you to post to 
flickr from your cameraphone or to post simultaneously to a blog via 
email from your phone. This would be a great way of sharing photos from 
a comic con or some other meeting quickly and effectively!

There's loads more features that make flickr a great site to use for 
your photosharing and photoblogging needs (and it's free too!)

But I'd be really happy to have the Groop there too. Most of the 
"regulars" on flickr (I'm one of them) are a fairly nice bunch (there's 
quite a few manga and anime fans) and yet not many have read Groo. We 
could evangelise Groo too! ;-)
